Minor Update

Mum's finally back from Russia/China after 8 days. She got us loads of gifts and souvenirs! She got me a pair of Nike Shoes, 2 Woolen blouse, a pair of winter gloves and countless of snacks for me to munch on. Haha, just got to love her a whole lot! Geez, I would love to give myself a break by going overseas yet I lack the capital to do so :( I wanna head off to some really chilly places where I wouldn't sweat so much like i do in Singapore! I've been catching up on TAR 17 and TARA 4 these days and somehow I get to see places mentally and one example of an awesome place would be Oman! It seems like a really beautiful place with an awesome landscape. Just gotta love that place to bits and I hope I'll get to that place at least once in my lifetime. School's been very mundane for me and exams are around the corner, couldn't afford to skip any lessons again yet this thought of mine still renders itself on my mind. I'm looking forward to my 2-weeks term break and of course, saving for my long-hauled trips! ^^

1st Year Anniversary.

Yknow how time flies that you had lost count of it. Nevertheless, a happy 1st year anniversary!
I hope you love my presents specially for you, for there'll never be another 1st year but I'm sure there'll be many more years to come.

♥♥♥

Anyway, I've been pretty much of being an online shopping geek throughout this weekends. Have been searching high and low for an ideal work blouson thats suitable for both work and play. Don't you just love tops that are just so versatile? Happened to chance upon RWB's sale section while I was browsing through the sites and I got myself a semi maxi dress with some other apparels!

Officially 17!

I'm officially 17 on the 20th. A simple birthday celebration with bibi. I'm really glad that my life seems so complete now. Thanks for the birthday cake and all the lil things that you've done for me. Trust me, it's one of the best birthday that I've ever had although it sucks to be in corporate attire. ♥

Nostalgia

A little room like these filled with so much nostalgic memories, bits and pieces of memories of each cities visited. A photograph of my granny's room. Grandad just sponsored my mum on a trip to Harbin and Russia on the 21st Oct midnight. Mum'll be leaving for the airport at 20th night which means that she'll not be able to celebrate my birthday with me. Man, if it weren't for school, I would have tag along with them as well! :(

Anyway, we headed to IMM today to shop around for winter clothes as Harbin is -5 degree celsius for this season, winter came a lil earlier this year. Purchased stuffs like cashmere thermal wear, thinsulated gloves, cashmere socks, snow boots and all. I got a lil excited because I hadn't been to countries with snow yet, although this time it isn't me whose going, just the thrill of shopping for them got me. We celebrated my birthday in advance at a really cozy restaurant which I've chosen. Headed up to Daiso to shop around and I got a couple of items at only $2 each, thrift i would say.

Daddy offered to reward me with a pair of two-way plane tickets to any destination of my choice should I managed to enroll myself into a local university. I felt really motivated but I don't know if I would be able to achieve it. I wanna head to Japan with bibi so much! It'll all be 2 and a half years down the road and let's hope we can make it through.

Depression

Well, I need to rant because I don't know if I could persevere through the remaining years. I starts to dislike my school seriously. I mean, I've to be in a corporate attire almost everyday next year and from this semester onwards, I've to wear corporate attire for one of the modules. That's still not yet the worst, what's worst is that spot checks would be held once in a while to ensure that everyone abides to the rule. How I wish I'm in bibi's school (STA) instead, at least the facils there are much more fun and easy to get along with, and they doesn't place emphasis on your attire! I wouldn't even want to think how my facils would be like next year, mean or what? I hope I'm able to perserve through the many stringent checks and practical modules next year because I suck at that area. I just hope I won't break down :(

I mean, we're heading off for IIP on year 3 right? So it shouldn't be that tough to hang on for a year. I'll pray hard that the next coming year, I won't be arranged with many after-school activities or briefings so that I can spend more time with bibi. He's the only one whom I can rely to and kept me from suffering depression.

The Perfect Ten

Once in a lifetime that we'll be able to experience, the perfect ten. I believe many couples would be having their engagement or wedding ceremony on this significant day. No doubt that in sg, it has actually the highest amount of couples getting married today as compared to the previous years (8.8.8, 9.9.9 etc). The perfect ten, everyone are probably in hope that it would actually lead to a perfect marriage as it sounds. Something memorable.

Life is pretty much mundane for me these few days, holidays are coming to an end, i'll be back into the routine school days in no time. A part of me wishes how time would be able to stop right at this moment. I don't know if I'm able to cope with all the coming stress that had set ahead for me. I'm filled with a million of question marks. Would I adapt back to the school environment? Would my new classmates be nice creatures? Would I be able to maintain my grades like before? Would...? Just the thought of all these depressed me greatly, how much i'll miss my previous class and my group of lovely friends :(

Rants

School's starting real soon, in about  2 days time. I don't know if I could switch back my body clock because I've been sleeping late everyday and waking up at a really late timing. What's worst could be that I'll be stuck in a class of 23 strangers on my first day of school (minus 1 because there's edward lol). Anyway, I feel so depressed after looking through my modules that I'm supposed to take for this coming semester. It consists of some modules that I've never taken before in my entire life such as Marketing, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Financial Accouting, Entrepreneurship. Lastly, there's Maths 2 which is generally Additional Mathematics which I've undergo during secondary school times that I guess I've forgotten most of it by now. I hope I'm able to do well for all of them because just the names of it depress me greatly.

Thinking on the bright side, I've shifted to Pod E2 which is bibi's previously block. He's shifting to Pod E3 which is just beside me, hehe! It'll somehow make our meeting up easier as compared to previously I've to travel all the way from W4 to E2. ^^ Somehow this actually comforts me a lot because at least I know there's someone near there whose with me mentally. I'll just pray that this coming semester would be a fruitful one, achieving my intended targets.

On a side note, I just purchased some online loots from Lilypirates' new collection. You girls should definitely not missed out on a great deal because LP has exclusive collections every launch with quality material used! Geez, can't wait for them to arrive in my letterbox!

Eat, Pray, Love

Caught Eat Pray Love at Cineleisure with bibi today. A really sentimental show I would say - to find true balance in life. I love the part filmed at Bali especially and Ketut is cute! Shadn't reveal anymore on the contents of the film so as not to be a spoiler. It's been a couple of months since we've last caught a movie in a cinema and I'm glad that Cathay has couple seats hehe! It somehow makes this romance film even more suitable for couples with such a setting. The theatre is filled with many people even for a weekday noon like this. You could easily judge from these that its a film that's highly-rated with both popularity and worthiness.

Had our lunch right at the basement of Cineleisure, Es Teler 77. I'm still lovin' their nasi ayam even though its been years since I've visited the restaurant. I'm glad that Jus Alpukat did not ran out of stock because the taste is as soothing as ever!

The chicken is totally fabulous with the additional kecap manis sprinkled on the skin of the crispy chicken. The soup has this sweet and sour taste that makes you craving for more. As for chilli wise, it's still not as hot as compared with Ayam Penyet Ria's. Must-try!!

Life's Good

My pay just came in this morning, was really delighted because I've been waiting for weeks. No more boring days at home and I'll be catching a movie with bibi tmrw over at Cathay, been months since both of us sit down and have a movie date together. I've been craving for Es Teler these days since its been a year I've paid my visit to Cathay's outlet.

Brought my family to Swensen's outlet at Westmall for lunch today. Gave them all a treat since I've just received my pay! A very fulfilling meal I'll say because things are just too good to be true recently, everything good seems to don on me and I'm glad that bad things did not befall during my peaks. I had Crayfish Pasta and I must say that Swensen's really generous in their food portions because I got 2 huge servings of lobster meat in my pasta that simply spells delicious. Of course, we ended off our lunch with a sweet treat, the chocolate fondue!

Comes with 5 scoops of ice creams (mint, strawberry, cookies and cream, chocolate, coffee), cream puff, biscuit, marshmellows, cherries, strawberries and bananas.

Finished up this delicious pasta within minutes and pardon me for the unsightful picture taken hehe. If you're wondering what's that two lump of meat-looking thing doing there, its actually the lobster's shell, not supposed to be eaten unless you wanna break your teeth.

So that pretty sums up what happened today. My birthday is round the corner and I wonder if anyone remembers :*

Results is out!

I was pretty overwhelmed and nervous when I got to know that the sem1 results is released today. Hence, the first thing I got home was to check the webpage for my results! As expected, the server is extremely laggy due to heavy traffic. Waited for it to load for quite sometime before knowing my results and I'm glad to say that I've achieved a GPA of 3.8 for this semester! :D

I did not expect myself to get better than I've expected as my target was actually 3.5. However, what makes me felt a pity was that Science actually pulled me down a little! I thought I could have done better for it though. But well, I'm still thankful for achieving the grades. I'll pray hard that I would be able to maintain my grades throughout my 3 years in school.

A piece of memory worth keep sake! Anyway, I'll stay root for you bibi no matter what. Don't give up, continue to strive your best and outshine the rest!! <3

Dua Dunia

Purchased 2 tickets for bibi and me for this show, Dua Dunia, which Dhea plays a role in it. So I've decided to give her our physical support through watching her performance! If any of you guys are interested to catch this drama show, you can look for her to purchase your tickets! ^^

Right now, I'm craving for another resort getaway to destination such as Langkawi, Phuket or Bali. I hadn't been to any of the destinations though, but I've seen many of the positive reviews made by people whom visited these places. I overheard that expenses there are much more lower than Bintan's if you avoid the tourist places. I'm more inclined towards Bali probably because I've not much of communication problems with the locals there. Personally, I would love to give Jawa Timur - Denpasar a visit. Hopefully I would have owned a DSLR by the time I'm flying over, and have many photographs taken of the lovely place.

New Found Favourite

I'm currently replaying my new found favourite songs on my iTouch constantly! I'll roughly list them down here: Ketika Cinta Bertasbih by Melly ft. Amee, Kapan Lagi Bilang I Love You by Dewi Sandra, Puaskah by Wali.

You should really watch Kapan Lagi Bilang I Love You's MV on Youtube because it's really touching and sentimental, I can't help it but tear a little.

Anyway, I'm liking Reza Afgansyah, known as Afgan, these days. He's a good singer with potential and a really soothing vocal. In case you're wondering how he looks like...

One of my favourite songs by him is Terimah Kasih Cinta, also the song which helps him in winning Anugerah Musik Indonesia 2009. In addition, he sang the OST song of Bukan Cinta Biasa, which happens to be another of my favourite.

He had released his second album "The One" this year, so do catch him around the music realm!
