Girls' Day Out

I guess most of you would have guessed where we've been to today - Vivo City. We've managed to meet up for a mini outing after an arduous semester (15 weeks exclusive of some holidays intervals). Both of them are my wonderful pals throughout the entire of my secondary school life. I kinda reminiscence the days we've spent back in secondary school, unlike the hectic ones in poly and we've enrolled ourselves into different school and courses :( Nonetheless, it is great to meet up for some catching up once in a while!

We've decided to watch Grown Ups because I've seen a couple of positive movie reviews on the net so I thought that we could have a try at this movie. I wanted to catch Going The Distance initially but got to realise just today that its categorised under M18. Speaking of movie grading, I've yet to catch any nice NC16 shows till today, although I'm going 17 in a month's time! I guess I should really spend some time heading to the cinemas these few days. I'm proud to say that you'd love this film if you're in for a good laugh, at least we feel that our money was well spent! Haha.

We had our lunch over at Coffee Bean. We did spend some time locating this cafe due to the large proximity of Vivo City. As usual, I ordered Chicken Bolognese Pasta as I do not prefer having sandwiches (I don't like salads). Catherine, on the other hand, ordered the Smoked Salmon Sandwich which turns out really disastrous. The salmon was raw and it possesses a pungent smell when savoured. To add it on, the Iced Tea served along with the set meal seems bitter and somewhat tasteless. I somehow regretted opting for Iced Tea instead of the Hot Tea (at least I could add milk or sugar according to my preference). So I managed to capture a picture of Catherine's meal but missed out on Peishan's and mine as I'm too hungry and savoured at the dish immediately it was served to me.

We went up to the Sky Garden at the roof top after our movie and had some photo taking! It has great sceneries there as we could vividly overlook the skyline of Sentosa Island as well as the harbourfront port.

Catherine accidentally covered part of the camera lens with her finger.

The harbourfront port.

Singapore Cruise Center. It somehow made me rekindled the other time when I headed off to Bintan over at Tanah Merah Cruise Center. How I misses those times! :(

I guess that's all for the photos since you could view them over my facebook album! I'm pretty lazy to upload all to blogger though. Anyway, I'll be out with bibi tmrw to MBS, since I've never got a chance to visit there ever since its opening. Till then, I shall harp on another mini outing! x
